Melbourne International School
The airy and spacious School site at Loewen Gardens provide a quiet, warm and secure environment. School buses will transport children to and from their homes. Our School offers the following facilities:
Classrooms
All classrooms are spacious, air-conditioned and furnished to create a conducive environment for learning and interaction.
Information Technology
Our school is fully equipped with state of the art PCs and educational software. Classes are held in small groups to maximise individual learning and allow for the integration of subjects across the curriculum. Plus older students will use the ICT labs at The GUILD for projects as well.
Music, Drama and Performing Arts
The dedicated Drama and Performing Arts areas at The GUILD are used for performances, public speaking, drama classes, school plays, individual and group musical recitals, pageants, choir, class and school concerts.
Outdoor Activity Areas
We have ample sporting and playground facilities for students in an open-air area.
Life Skills Room
Children use the Life Skills Room for cooking sessions where they follow recipes and integrate their learning by discussion, using procedure, measuring, mixing and combining substances, visual representation and nutrition. They will learn about kitchen safety and problem solving.
Indoor Gym
The indoor gym is always a favourite as it offers a comfortable and safe space for students practise various movement activities.
Therapy Room
The Therapy Room is used to manage sensory over-stimulation and develop the senses. It is also use for various specialist sessions such as Speech therapy and Occupational therapy.
